Online Complaint / Incident Report Form
We are committed to a positive playing experience for all individuals. If a team or an individual has a complaint, it must be submitted within 48 hours of the start of the game which is being reported on. The complaint will be reviewed by our Executive Director and/or Disciplinary Committee, and they will use their discretion to address it, which may include directing the complaint to the Saville Centre (if related to the facility), the Edmonton Basketball Officials Association (EBOA), or an internal review of EBA operations.

Regarding game play complaints, all attempts to resolve disputes should be made within the game and under the authority of the referees. EBA primarily manages player discipline through the Officials' reports (including fouls called), per Article 18 of the EBA By-Laws.

The best way to address complaints about referees is to make a notation on the scoresheet, and these will be forwarded to the EBOA.

The EBA recognizes that some complaints fall outside of FIBA rules and, in particular, the EBA is committed to upholding our Code of Conduct and supporting a sports environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.

Members who violate the Code may be subject to disciplinary action. At the discretion of the Board of Directors, and on evidence from players, referees, and witnesses involved, this may include, but is not limited to, banishment from facilities, game suspension(s), or a lifetime ban from the EBA.
